入圍2005年威尼斯影展競(jìng)賽項(xiàng)目的電影【神鬼克星】是執(zhí)導(dǎo)過【未來(lái)總動(dòng)員】、【奇幻城市】、【巴西】的狂想派風(fēng)格導(dǎo)演泰瑞吉連的最新創(chuàng)意結(jié)晶。這部由【神鬼認(rèn)證】麥特戴蒙、【決戰(zhàn)時(shí)刻】希斯萊杰、【黑客任務(wù)2】莫妮卡貝露琪、【007-明日帝國(guó)】強(qiáng)納森普萊斯、電視電影【終極魔法師】(Merlin)蓮娜海蒂聯(lián)合主演的片子，雖是以風(fēng)靡全球的童話作家格林兄弟為主角，但卻是一個(gè)全然虛構(gòu)的冒險(xiǎn)故事，編導(dǎo)從「灰姑娘」、「睡美人」、「小紅帽」、「青蛙王子」、「糖果屋」、「長(zhǎng)發(fā)公主」這些格林童話故事中擷取靈感，讓格林兄弟置身在他們所創(chuàng)造的奇幻世界里，經(jīng)歷一場(chǎng)真實(shí)世界與童話世界互相穿透的奇幻冒險(xiǎn)旅程。

擔(dān)綱原著音樂創(chuàng)作的是好萊塢的生面孔—Dario Marianelli，他來(lái)自意大利比薩，過去這十年來(lái)，他多元接觸不同領(lǐng)域的音樂創(chuàng)作，舉凡電影、電視影集、紀(jì)錄片、動(dòng)畫、劇場(chǎng)、現(xiàn)代舞蹈、音樂會(huì)…等領(lǐng)域都有涉獵?！旧窆砜诵恰靠梢运闶荄ario進(jìn)軍好萊塢影音界的首部作品，他以老派的交響音樂與人聲大合唱的手法來(lái)烘托這場(chǎng)奇異的冒險(xiǎn)，首先他在影片開場(chǎng)戲的樂曲 Dickensian Beginnings' 中就寫了兩段風(fēng)格不同的主題樂章，第一段是由大提琴為主導(dǎo)的交響樂，樂聲低沉、渾重，帶點(diǎn)命運(yùn)命題意味，樂聲中揚(yáng)起的吹管樂器聲與電子鈴鐺聲效則負(fù)責(zé)彌漫冒險(xiǎn)旅程中的恐懼、不安氣氛，第二段是狂妄、囂張的銅管樂進(jìn)行曲，曲子散發(fā)濃烈的哥德色彩，外帶華爾茲舞曲的搖擺趣味，此段音樂大多用來(lái)制造冒險(xiǎn)歷程中的驚險(xiǎn)感受。隨著冒險(xiǎn)旅程的開展，大提琴更幾乎成了掌控不安情緒的主要樂器，而Dario的交響樂章除了仰賴兩段主題音樂的多樣變化演繹， 在格局、氣勢(shì)的調(diào)度也都越來(lái)越有驚世駭俗的味道，樂曲的調(diào)度與樂器的使用也更加活潑、生動(dòng)。第12軌 'The Eclipse Begins' 中，Dario選用布拉姆斯的催眠曲更是神來(lái)之筆。整體而言，Dario的音樂不但緊跟著影像，但他的音樂卻可以在沒有影像的依附下，獨(dú)立成一篇華麗、多彩，充滿無(wú)限想象力的冒險(xiǎn)樂章。
